Princess yelling out to Dad and Mom: How do you spell pecker?

Mom and Dad burst into giggles: um...Why do you..... laugh..laugh..need to know how to spell pecker?

Princess: I'm writing an e-mail. I have the wood...but I need the pecker.

Mom and Dad burst into gales of laughter..reaching tear point: "BAHHHHH..giggle..snort..um..why..laugh..do you...giggle... want to spell pecker?"

Princess: Stop laughing..I need to spell pecker..I have the wood but not the pecker.....

Mom and Dad: giggle, BAHHH...tears...snort..cough..choke..laugh...

Princess: I am tryin to write woodpecker..Please spell pecker for me...

Mom: P..E..C..K..E..laugh..laugh..R....laugh..BAHHH...tears..

Dad: Laugh...Well at least she just wants to know how to spell it and not see one yet...laugh.. giggle..snort..laugh...

gotta go change my pants now....laugh..laugh.. I love having a daughter.

Well the day had come that I was dreading for lo...these past 99 months..the realization that my little girl was..well..um..a girl. I wanted her to stay my baby forever but as Mother Nature doesn’t listen to my prayers..the day finally arrived...the day I had to buy her these....

Buy the way..what the heck is it with the term "bralette"? Who came up with this term?

She had been asking for one for a few weeks now as her "little buds" had begun sprouting and her friend had one and she thought it was "cool". Little does she know the horrors that will be in store for her in the future. She will learn to dispise this little bit of fabric, elastic, and what ever else torture apparatus that is installed (can you say..underwire)...ahhhh...

Okay..off to cry..sniff..sniff..

Countdown

Well today was the last day of summer camps for Princess.

She has started the countdown until school...27 days from today..LOL. We already have 90% of the school supplies either purchased or recycled from previous years.

Now if I can just get through the next 3 1/2 weeks trying to work full-time from home along with being a social director for an 8-year-old spoiled only child.

I would much rather be the full-time social director as they have more fun..but alas..bills need to be paid.
