Dad's birthday

Found my Dad's 60th Birthday present. Went and picked him out today. Isn't he just the cutest bulldog baby? He should be ready to go home when Dad comes up at the end of April. I know Dad is going to like him.

Manatees

We went and spent the night at Blue Spring State Park. (see link over on the right) I had booked a cabin before we left on our trip. The cabins are absolutely beautiful! We were all amazed. So wish that we could have stayed longer. Princess was thrilled that she got to see so many manatees in the spring.

Love is all we need

My sister T and her soulmate B were joined in a beautiful ceremony yesterday. There were many tears of happiness for both of these wonderful ladies. The love that was palpable during the ceremony was beautiful. I don't care what your religious beliefs are...if we are lucky enough to find someone who loves us unconditionally, you should be allowed to spend the rest of your life with them.

job

Well this economy completely sucks. I had my meeting today and my job is saved BUT I had to take a pay cut. I am now back to making my 2001 wage and doing more work to keep it. At least I am still employed. (((sigh)))) Is it time to think about going back to school?

Leavin on a jet plane

Well we are off to FL for the next 8 days. My sista T is getting hitched. I have to try to save my job. We are planning on going to see the manatees for Princess. I hate traveling away from my honey. Here is hoping the trip goes well.

New diet

I think stress is God's way of making me lose weight. When I am under stress I have no desire to eat. Today has been very stress filled and am surviving on the 2 pieces of wheat toast I had for breakfast. Can you tell when my stress started? Just the thought of food makes me nauseated.

Lord give me strength to get through the next 6 days. I hope and pray I can keep my job.

long time

Sorry I have been gone so long...a friend got me started on Facecrack. I will be coming back...need an outlet for my wandering mind still. Not that anyone reads my blog but me..but I need it nonetheless.

Feel like I should be at confession..."Forgive me..it has been over 4 months since my last blog".

Lots has happened..got 2 new hips, the holidays have passed, been eating too much and still need to lose weight, work has been going well. Will be in Florida for my Sister & B's committment ceremony in 12 days..yippee. All the world needs is love. Sure hope it is a heck of a lot warmer. I need some sun on my face.
