Wandering

My poor baby...yet another one of her friend "moves" or transfers to a different school. This has happened EVERY SINGLE year that she has been attending school.

Preschool: Z moves to California
Kinder: S R. also moves to California
1st: K transfers to C----- public.
2nd: K transfers B---- public.

This poor child...she never wants to have a "best friend" because they end up moving or transferring schools and she never gets to see them.

She knew that today was going to be K’s last day and cried this morning before school. Then this afternoon when we pick her up..she is sobbing like she "lost her best friend". It was completely heart breaking. She cried all the way to China Cottage (25 minutes). We decided to go there to help cheer her up.

Why can’t I find a school close to home (THAT I LIKE) where she can have friends come over and hang out.

Speaking of schools...the hunt for another option is on. Figured I would look again and see if there was something out there that would "fit" our family better (and maybe was closer to home). If not we will be in the same place for another year...hopefully with a teacher who is caring, human, willing to communicate, will be a partner in the teaching process, etc...I know..I am literally asking for a miracle.
