Know what really ticks me off.

Typing a letter while listing to a doctor yammer on and on....only to have her pause and then tell me to disregard the letter. PISSES ME TOTALLY OFF!!!!!

Especially because I get paid by the line..so the time I just spent typing those damn words she just rambled, I just wasted. I get paid NOTHING for dealing with that bull crap.

If you are a doctor or happen to love one please ask them to THINK before you start to do your dictation. Are you sure that this person needs a letter? Do you have a clue what you want to say.

There is a real live person who has to listen to your conversations with other people, listen to your snotty nose, listen to your pager or cell phone ring, listen to you eat your lunch, listen to you yell at your kids, sometimes listen to you go pee, and especially listen to your mouse click while you are checking your e-mail or surfin' the net. I would love to surf the net but I can't. Don't waste my time listening to you do it while you think of what you want to say about Jane Doe's hip pain.
